Hermine Aichenegg

Hermine Aichenegg was one of the particularly innovative artists who turned to modernism and revitalized the art scene in Vienna after the war. From 1951 Aichenegg was one of the few female members of the Vienna Secession with a lively exhibition activity until 1983. Her work was completely wrongly forgotten in the late 1980s.
