Our curators carefully choose the artists, and they decide what artworks they want to sell.

For every artwork sold at THISISKUNST, we provide certificates of authenticity and make sure to offer you the best quality possible. If we question the quality or authenticity of any artwork, we will not include it in our online store.

All artworks are available for purchase, except the ones that have already been sold, which is always indicated on our artwork page. If you are unable to find a work you love, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will do our best to suggest good alternatives by our artists. Some artists also accept commissions.

Of course. If the artwork you would like to purchase is not already framed, you can let us know and we will make sure to find you a suitable frame.

It is very important to us to provide you with advice and recommendations to help you find the artwork you love. Please contact us at hello@thisiskunst.com and we will be more than happy to assist you. We will get back to you as soon as we can.

It's not easy to choose an artwork for another person. Art taste is very subjective. That’s why we offer two options. You can either consult us to provide you a personalized selection within your budget or purchase a gift card for an amount of your choice. When purchasing a gift card, we also offer personalized advice for the person you are purchasing for, to help them choose an artwork of their taste.

If you have a certain artist in mind you can simply visit our artists page or look them up in our search bar. If there are no results, please contact us. We are happy to collaborate with artists whose artworks interest our users. If the artist joins THISISKUNST, we will let you know asap.

The measurements of every artwork are specified on the artwork page. If you are not sure and require more details, please get in touch with us. Our team will be more than happy to provide you with more information and images to help you get a better idea of the dimensions of the artwork.

Our intention is to provide you with the best possible images of the artworks to give you an accurate depiction of the artworks. However, if you are still not sure, we can send you additional images on request.

If the artwork you ordered is not what you expected, we are incredibly sorry. You have two weeks to return the work after its delivery.

To buy an artwork, you simply click on “Add to Cart”, which is found on every artwork page. This will redirect you to your cart. Once you have clicked “Check Out”, we will ask for your details to organize delivery and ask you to choose your method of payment. Once the payment has been processed, you will receive confirmation from our payment provider. 

All credit and debit cards (Mastercard, Visa, Diners, American Express etc.), Paypal and bank transfer.

Once the payment is been processed, the artwork is reserved for you. We will inform you right away to confirm its availability and delivery times. Together we will arrange the best day for delivery to the address you provided.

Your credit card will be charged at the time of checkout when you confirm your purchase. This is the point when your payment is authorized and processed by our payment gateway. Please note that when using a debit card, the payment may be immediately deducted from your account balance.

Of course. Before the work is shipped, you can cancel your order via email. Once it's shipped, the cancellation period runs for 2 weeks after delivery. If the work has been shipped, we will only refund you once the work has been returned to the artist or to us in its original condition.

We operate as an international company and therefore deliver worldwide.

We usually send out the artworks within 7-10 days after the purchase. Delivery time may vary depending on the country of departure and destination and if extra products like framing etc. were added to your order.

Shipping costs are calculated at the end of your check out process and depend on the country of destination.

Depending on the country of destination, the shipping company will ask you to pay customs import fees.

If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your order, you can ask to return your product within 14 days after you have received your order. If you receive a damaged item, you can ask for a repair, a replacement, or a refund within 14 days after delivery. However, please note that you have to cover the costs for any return shipments. Also, made-to-order products, such as commissioned artwork and custom and made-to-order design pieces are not eligible for return or refund.
