The painter and graphic artist grew up in an international environment and completed her classical academic painting training at the avant-garde New York Academy of Art in New York with an MFA. Then she returned to Europe, where, in addition to her socially critical narrative paintings, she finally developed a unique motif: her shrill, poppy-iconic Emu in frontal view, the figurehead of her artistic voice. This delights and moves the art world with extraordinary "wall power" and the highest recognition value. Her works are always a crowd pleaser at auctions and exhibitions, and her emus are an integral part of contemporary Pop Art. The artist is intensely committed to environmental and social issues, lives and works in Vienna.
