Ernesto Mistretta was born in 1976 in Marsala, Italy. Training as an architect, he worked for a long time as art director for Jean Nouvel, before developing recently his personal work as a digital painter in Paris. His research tries to find a link between the conceptual and optical art of the 60s and the lasts digital techniques. He uses CAD software (for architectures) in a new and personal way, making the geometries and chromatic variations of “lines”, the key to understanding and exploring his soul. 2018-2019 : develops his plastic and artistic research; 2007-2017 : art director in the Jean Nouvel Studio; 2001-2006 : creation and development of Ernesto Mistretta Studio; 1995-2000 : studies at the University of Architecture in Italy and France
